Marco de trabajo para el control de traslados intrahospitalarios de pacientes en el modelo de hospital inteligente

La falta de control en el seguimiento de los procesos de movilidad intrahospitalaria entre las diferentes áreas de un hospital ha llevado a desestimar la calidad de la atención de gran cantidad de hospitales de la ciudad de Barranquilla, generando, en muchos casos, procesos legales por parte de los pacientes o sus familiares. La presente investigación propone un diseño de marco de trabajo por capas, que establece una estructura de información capaz de proporcionar estandarización, control y seguimiento de los traslados, a los actores de instituciones prestadoras de salud.
El modelo conceptual de esta propuesta está enmarcado en la línea de hospitales inteligentes, que permite a las instituciones prestadoras de servicios médicos (IPS) una mejor forma de administrar sus procesos y mejorar la eficiencia de la gestión hospitalaria, a fin de evitar pérdidas de tiempo en los traslados de pacientes y seguir la trazabilidad, a partir de la utilización de sistemas de información estandarizados. La investigación presentó grandes resultados, asociados a la optimización de los tiempos de los traslados al utilizar el sistema de información basada en la propuesta conceptual.
